WETDREAMSEXCITER is a new generation audiovisual band that presents the world with new forms of ambient music and visual aesthetics rooted in hypnogogic dreams of passionate dark sexuality and surrealistic pictures of the future everyone dreams about.

The band was founded in 2020 by record producer Aleksei Kolesnikov and visual artist Vera Masyutina. They debuted an audiovisual hyperzine concept that evolved into a 24/7 broadcast on YouTube that is still supported today.

Under the acronym WDE, band releases digital and physical music on various labels such as Detroit Underground, Dream Catalogue, No Problema Tapes, Angel Lips and many others. The band also participates in IRL and URL events with both live sets and pre-recorded programs.

WETDREAMSEXCITER tries not to follow certain stylistic genres, but relies more on methods of creating a compositional aesthetic that are as a labyrinth that has the property of both obeying certain rules and breaking them, creating new liminal landscapes and transport the viewer into these experiences through suggestive narratives and concepts, with abstract, futuristic, dream aesthetics.
